Use of Discovery

Effective 6 October 2026. Sonic Field provides this public research and reading service without a service fee. It has not yet been published in the plugin directory.

Available functionality

The service searches public Journal, Lexicon, Library, and People records, returns bounded excerpts or metadata, follows supported outgoing Lexicon references, and displays a cited reading list. It does not provide private account access, saving, editing, audio playback, audio analysis, or general web search.

Sources and rights

Records may be incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or contain errors. Rankings cover retrieved candidates; a result is not an endorsement. A bibliographic entry or excerpt is not a full publication. Check the original source before relying on its claims. Language and rights marked unknown remain unknown.

Copyright and other rights remain with their holders. This service does not grant a license to republish source materials, images, or recordings. Follow the original publisher's terms. Report attribution, correction, or removal concerns through Sonic Field's contact page.

Responsible access and availability

Use the documented interface for source discovery. Do not attempt to access private resources, evade request limits, disrupt the service, or submit another person's credentials. The service uses request and rate limits; upstream outages can cause partial results or failures. Availability and response time are not guaranteed. Capabilities and availability may change.

Hosts and contact

Your host application and linked publishers have separate terms. The reading view shares its current selection with the host. It does not save an account collection. See the privacy notice for data handling and support for assistance.
